The film tells a short story about Arkivcentrum (the Archival Center) in Karlstad, in the Swedish province of Värmland. We go through the localities and have a look also into the storage rooms, with archival documents from late Medieval times and until recent times, from farmsteads, private persons and families, companies, organizations, local and regional authorities or institutions as hospitals , churches, schools and courts. Stefan Backius has filmed, Peter Olausson is the guide at the archive, archivist Björn Midböe describes what people visit the archives. The film is edited by Martin Lindkvist.
